It bothers me. Cutting words to where it isn't even a word anymore. Like pregnant/prego. What in the world is that? Doing that sounds stupid, in my opinion.

It bothers the heck out of me! My brother would never call a car by it's real name; he had to call a camerro a "marro", a toyota a "yota", a baracuda a "cuda"! AHHHHHH! Made me want to shoot myself! Why can't he just say it right? I feel your pain!

Yes it bothers the h*** out of me and it's a bit stupid. Some are a bit offensive. Like if you are lesbian, being called lesbo. That is so rude to some people. And even if you arent, it is still offensive.

Sometimes it bugs me, but it depends on which words. But I do shorten some words!

when we are speaking to another i dont like to use or hear shorten words..
they do come in handy for sms and online
