Can't we find space on the White House lawn for:---
A small statue of Al Gore humping a short elm tree?
John Kerry, showing frustration in that long face, while trying to remove that big foot from his mouth?
Maybe one of Jane Fonda saluting the flag with her middle finger?
A large bust of Obama, where visitors could relax in the shade of his ears?
Something in bronze depicting Howard Dean delivering his famous victory S C R E A M?
Perhaps a gold plaque showing Bill Clinton sitting in the Oval Office smelling his cigar?
We might even find room for a memorial to Hilary, --baking cookies in the White House kitchen, with a short peice of chain hooked to Bill's chastity belt.
Come on people , haven't these leaders earned their place in the hearts of all Americans?
And now ladies and gentlemen our National Anthem.

CORAGRYPH---Abandon them? ? ? --They had to run away, like bats from a burning barn, to keep the libs'. disgraceful behavior, from destroying the party.
But now the cowardly termites are creeping back in, to do some more dammage to their pary and this country.

It's just so peachy, that you can see rats leaving a sinking ship as the "Liberal movement".
How did you view the slaughter of the millions of people after we left?-- Was this a "correction in direction"?

Lets not waste the tax payers dollars erecting these monuments. We should gather up Bill, Hillary, Jane, Obama, Howard, John and lets not leave out Nancy Pelosi and pile them on the White House lawn for a really big bon-fire. I didn't forget Al Gore we will make him watch while we contribute to Global Warming

Ralphy said: "The democrats tend to be in favor of a powerful centralized government just like the federalists, whereas the anti-federalists wanted the federal government to be weak and more power to the states as republicans favor" Way off base. From Alexis de Tocqueville's Democracy in America: "The party that desired to limit the power of the people(meaning the people's power through the Federal government), endeavored to apply its doctrines more especially to the Constitution of the Union, whence it derived its name of Federal. The other party, which affected to be exclusively attached to the cause of liberty, took that of Republican." Follow the 2 parties through history. The then Republicans are now called Democrats and the then Federalists are now called Republicans. Tocqueville says this distinction between ideals is inevitable. "The accession of the Federalists to power was, in my opinion, one of the most fortunate incidents that accompanied the formation of the great American Union: they resisted the inevitable propensities of their country and their age." Federalists wanted a firm structure of government that would resist the passing whims of the majority. As an example, see the two stage election of Senators in the original Constitution. They knew that, like the Romans, we would eventually sell ourselves out for the guarantee of a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and an HDTV in every house (read: bread and circuses). Side note, it was the Federalist party under different names in history which fought for the abolition of slavery, civil rights etc. in keeping with the original intent of the founding of this country. Tocqueville noted that too, once the flood gates of liberty are open it will not rest until the people are equal under the law.

We really should have a statue of Sen Kennedy's oldsmobile going off the bridge into Chappaquidick. He never served a day in jail for failing to report the accident or killing the girl who worked for his campaign, that deserves some recognition, doesn't it? The guy should have been serving 20 to life in Walpole, not 20 to life in the US Senate. And he had the nerve to ask if there was special justice for the powerful when Nixon was pardoned.

How about a small statue of Foley with his computer.....A putty statue of Tom Delay for his victory over the american indians, or maybe bu$h saluting the american people with his middle finger, or perhaps a statue of Cheney celebrating his war on Iraq...make sure he is holding a rifle in one hand and a bottle of booze in the other, then we could do something in bronze of Rove sitting in his oval office and for sure a statue of bu$h with his mission accomplished banner

It's time for someone to wake up from their nap because they are dreaming. There's not enough room until they clean up all the Sh!t Bush has dumped on it. It's important not to throw stones from glass houses, and the GOP have enough to be ashamed about without trying to belittle the democratic representatives.
Was that the best you could dome up with for Gore? ugh! That was just stupid.
