1. Keep fluids toped off and changed regularly.
2. Keep tires at proper air presure.
3. Drive below 3,000 RPM.
4. Take rotating weight off.
4a. Remove belts for PS and AC.
4b. Remove blancer belt.
4c. Get a lighter crank pully and/or flywheel
5. Remove excess weight in the car. (Leave everything at home you do not need in the car. Like your girl/boyfriend.)
6. Get lighter rims.
7. Clean the EGR system!!!

If you feel like spending more money you could do a short ram air intake and open the exhaust system a little(2 1/4")

You can start with a super chip which is suppost to increase power and boost fuel economy by up to 15%. A cold air intake will help your motor breath better and increase economy. Also you can get a low restriction exhaust system. All these suggestions will also give you added power and thus your motor will not labor as much to get your car to speed and maintain it's speed. You can also experiment with different speeds, every car has it's "sweet spot" for gas mileage, for some 55mph might be good where as others like 80mph better, it all depends on gearing and HP. arent all hondas pretty fuel efficent? anyway ask the dealership where you bought it or the clerk at a gas station...they might have som tips!
