How old do u have 2 be 2 have an acting agent or something because Im going 2 take classes and maybe in a couple years go 2 movies. I just keep hearing people talk about these acting agents.

Babies age 15 days old and up may work in the entertainment industry and therefore have an agent.

As for the other statements in your questions, it takes a lot of hard work to get to the point you're talking about. It's great to see that you're willing to put the time in for classes (that's a lot more than other kids are willing to do!), but you need to realize that movies could happen for you right away or never. Some people go for a long time before ever getting a part. It's naive to think that after a couple of years you'll be in the movies because it just doesn't work that way. Hopefully through your classes and through experience you'll learn a lot more about how this whole thing works.

I suggest going to the library and getting some books about getting into the business. You will learn a lot :-)

You can have an agent as a baby up until youre 100. There are acting agents specializing in child actors and certain types of actors, so if you are younger, look for agents like these to further your career.

Generally acting agents will not take you unless you are SAG eligible and have a resume with work.

Exceptions exists for babies and small children who have potential. SAG agents may take them on and hope they get a part and Taft HArtley.
