I'm about an inch away because I'm dyeing my hair black and can't put my glasses on.

The only time my nose isn't almost touching the screen is when I'm typing and then it's an a hair's breadth from the keys. If I was a foot away .... hang on ..... basically, I can see a green blur. Well, it's about time to wash it off so I can put my specs back on and actually watch The Cosby Show instead of listening to it.

A shade over 18 inches.
I normally wear bifocals which means to read the screen I have to tip my head back, which eventually gives me neck ache. But for using the computer I have found an old pair of reading glasses (at least two prescriptions back) are just about right, but if I have a source document that I need to read so I can transcribe it onto the computer, I am stuffed because I need my bifocals.

I'm an arm and a half length away from my computer, with a protection screen over it. The settings or contrast is set to low. The fonts are bigger.
I don't want to damage my retinas and damage my eyesight more than I have to. It's easier on the eyes that way.

right here i'm sitting very close. At my different abode I sit down better away yet I nevertheless lean in. this is the same with interpreting, i think of it particularly is a habit I picked up years in the past formerly i've got been given glasses or some thing.

to close but comfy! on the couch feet up duvet wrapped around knees bent arghh comfy did i mention the tub of cookies im managing to scroff ops maybe that aint good at this time in the morning lol did the dye work i hope didnt turn pink :-)
