my birth details are:

2nd October 1981
0148 HRS (night)
Rohtak, India

I have been told by some palmists and astrologers that I have a very short life and that I will die in an accident!!

Right now I am 25...some say it is 25, some say 47....I wish to know about my longevity and also marriage prospects.

I work in USA since 2003.Did study here too for 2 years (2003 to 2005)

Astrology came to India from Babylon, the place of its origin, via the middle-east countries. It has no relation with Vedas or its off-shoot the Vedantas. The "Jyotish" section of what is known as the Vedangas also does not prescribe the rules for casting the birth charts and rules for predicting a man's destiny from the stars and planets, which is the main subject matter of astrology. In this context the words vedic astrology or vedic astrologer and its use are inappropriate.

Astrology is a science that should be used to guide oneself in times of confusion and crisis. It is also a path to the Almighty. Please do not lay so much store by what astrologers have told you. Where astrology and astrologers end, faith in the Almighty and hope begin.

There is an old saying - Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavanti. As you shall believe, so you shall become.

So, please approach life with hope and with faith in God.
