What did you have your tank tested for? Do you know anything about cycliing a tank? Do you know the difference between ammonia and nitrite? Email me if you want, I can probably help you.

There could be a number of reasons your fish are dieing. From a non cycled or not fully cycled aquarium where the ammonia and nitrites are spiking causing your fish to die to not using a dechlor/water conditioner when you started the tank. How many guppies did you get and what size tank did you put them in? adding too many fish too quickly will also spike ammonia and nitrites. Only add 1-2 fish 1 week apart to allow time for your biofilter to rebound from the addition of fish.

Also, when doing water changes, only remove 25% of the water not the entire tank. Removing all the water makes the tank cycle all over again. You can have your water tested too early. Testing water that is only 2 days old in a tank will not show adverse readings. Cycling the tank takes 1-2 weeks.

Check your temperatures and be sure they are not too high. Also are you floating the fish properly when you bring them home? Floating the bag for 15 min and adding 1/2 - 1 cup of water every 15 minutes 4-5 times will allow your fish to slowly adjust to not only the temperatures but also the PH and water conditions in your tank.

You're not alone in this sort of problem, trust me. One of the trickiest parts of aquarium keeping is 'The New Fish.' Being taken from their home in the pet store, transported in the bag to your aquarium, and adjusting to the new home with strange fish is all very stressful on the fish and it always takes at least a day or so for the fish to recover.

Make sure the fish you're buying are healthy. Look for ones that are eating vigorously and swimming throughout the tank, having smooth skin with no abnormal distortions of skin pattern or color, lesions, white, yellow, or other odd-colored spots, clear eyes that aren't popping out, light-colored poop, no torn fins, and is not swimming vertically or anything.

Make sure, yourself, the water is safe. Re-condition it (I recommend AquaSafe, Stress Coat, and Stress Zyme) and let it cycle for a day or two. Make sure your filter is operating properly and the temperature of the tank is at a suitable level for the fish you're going to get. If you want, add some ammonia remover to make sure the ammonia in the tank as at a non-toxic level.

Hope that helped!

Because your tank is not cycled yet, and guppies are not very hardy fish

What's the temperature? it suppose to be around 76-82 degrees for guppies

Did you acclimate your new fish? you need to float the bag with the fish for 30 min before releasing them into the tank

Have you gotten your water tested for ammonia and nitrite? They are both suppose to be at "0"

Hope that helps
Good luck

Does your fish tank have a disease brought in by the new fish? Did you cycle your tank?
