Yes, Democrats will rule with an Iron Fist.
Read Animal Farm & 1984 by Orwell.
He was Warning us of Liberals, Socialists, & Communists.
If the Democrats take completely over, many of us on Yahoo will be sent to "Re-Education Camps", just like what happened in Nam when the Communists & Liberals took over.
The Democrats will Completely take over in 2009.
There will be "exciting times" ahead.

Crankypants:
5) You can't marry who you choose
A marriage has always been between a man and a woman. Do you believe a person should be able to marry a horse? Do you believe a person should be able to marry YOUR spouse even though he/she is still married to you and doesn't even know the person? I doubt it, which means you DO have limits. Well, your limits may be ok with gay marriage while others have a problem with it.
6) You can't terminate your own pregnancy
You can't commit murder. I don't have a problem with this one. You want control? You had control during conception. If you shoot a person, should you get mad at the bullet because you changed your mind after you pulled the trigger?
7) Your kids must say a prayer in order to pledge allegiance to thier country.
No, they pledge to God. That's not a prayer. The absence of "Amen" would be a clue. They don't have to utter the "God" part. If they don't believe in God, then it's no different than having them pledge allegiance to the flag under the auspices of Bart Simpson, the tooth fairy, or any other imaginary character.
8) You can't create offensive artwork
You can, but you shouldn't have the right to display it in such a manner as to remove peoples' choice to view it.
(9) You have to teach creation myths in science class.
It's a myth because you say so?
10) Your phone can be tapped at any time without a warrant if someone suspects that maybe perhaps you may have something to do with a terrorist suspect somewhere
Yup. Nevermind that it has to still be justified later. Oh yes, I forgot: ALL law enforcement officials are Bush-slaves, evil, and can't possibly have the ability to register a complaint when ethics violations occur.
11) Your library records can be checked by the government without your knoweldge
PUBLIC library records... wow... Who'da thunk it?
12) You do not have the right to health care
You have the right to the best health care you can afford. So think about saving for medical costs instead of buying that new 64" HD TV.
13) You do not have the right to basic housing
You have the right to whatever housing you can afford. The government even provides low cost and in some cases no cost housing temporarily to those in need. If someone isn't motivated to move themselves up and out, I'm not feeling very sympathetic.
14) You do not have the right to your day in court if a powerful corporation harms you.
Sure you do. Is a 3rd degree burn from coffee worth $1 million? Give me a break. How powerful the company is has nothing to do with the damage done to you.
15) You do not have any bankruptcy rights unless you own a business.
Oooookaaaay.

I'm certainly no Hillary fan, so I won't even try to defend her. It's interesting though that many see such a huge difference in the candidates and their parties. They really aren't all that different. Here's an interesting look political positions and where the candidates stack up:

Well, you can't be sued for saying the "N" word or for expressing your opinions, but if you do, then yes, people can express their opinions by labeling you.
I think you need to recheck the definition of fascism if you think that is what the government is doing when it attempts to regulate activities which impact the common good (i.e. food safety, tobacco use, etc.). Granted, it may sometimes seem excessive, but it is hardly fascist.

Well, I know in the hood, someone with my pigment better avoid that word. The gay marriage thing...usually people who consider that lifestyle normal and mainstream get upset when anything otherwise is suggested. The nanny-state...telling us what to serve and how to serve it...I may also throw in telling private businesses people can't smoke in them...I'm searching my mind for a name to these do-gooders. The ones who outlaw things that may be harmful to your body...but insist that a woman should be able to have an abortion because it is HER body, after all. The ones who believe they can spend your money better than you can...ohhhhhhhhhh, democrats/liberals/socialists?
To those who point out that no one is being sued for speaking the N word or speaking out against gay marriage...they are right...what is happening instead is the individual is being forced to resign from whatever job they have...just as bad.

Fascism is the post-democracy form of government where politics and business merge.
The Bilderberg group to which the Bush family, Kissinger, Cheney and many others belong is pushing it big time.
The U.S. is fast slipping into fascism and the so-called liberals don't appear to have anything to do with it, not when compared to the neocons.
The Nazis made it work briefly, by engaging in confiscation of property and the use of slave labor.
The current love of fascism in Washington may have started with the great wealth that it brought to Prescott Bush I.

Cite me one, just one, instance where ANYBODY was sued for speaking out against gay marriage. Just one. I bet you can't. Cite one, just one, "non-dangerous" ingredient that has been eliminated? I bet you can't. Explain to me when it was outlawed to use the "N" word? Have you listened to Tribe Called Quest lately? As far cigarettes and guns go, when exactly were they outlawed? I missed that I guess, because someone's walking past my window right now smoking. Heck, he might even have a gun on him.
Oh, and the Republicans are taking my money to fight this stupid war, and doing as they see fit with it.
So I don't see any "fascists", but I do see at least one propagandist. You.

Actually, #2 and #4 are socialist, not fascist.
But it's mostly Democrats doing #2 thru #4, and a mix of Democrats and Republicans doing #1 (different areas of regulation).
That's why the Democratic party should not be referred to as liberal -- they stopped being liberal (advocating personal freedom and opposing govt regulation) a long time ago.
