She would have to be the person to file charges and have them arrested so in this scenario since the two of them are married I would thing that the outcome would be the same. If Faith had wanted Tim to file charges; charges would have been filed. There was enough media attention brought to it that the person who committed the act has now been publicly lambasted for it. I think more controversy would have been raised for the couple had they pressed charges.

Ha! That was great. I am so proud of her for telling that person off about her man! Any other woman would have done the same thing! Go Faith!!!!
I think it shows class on the McGraw's part that they are not pressing charges. If the roles were switched, I do think the person would have got arrested, but in all actuality, we don;t know what happened to that person. The body guards could have gotten her good or she might have been personally escorted out after Faith did her talking to. Either way, that fan will forever be known as "The woman who got chewed out by Faith Hill live at the concert!! Ha!

That would be a crime of sexual harassment.
The fan could be arrested, no matter what sex they are. The idea is that either case would be a case for sexual harassment, but males are "supposed to enjoy it" so it isn't harassment. Which is as old and outdated as the idea that when a woman says "no" she actually means "yes."
Either way the fan was out of line.
Your clip didn't cover the incident, it only covered the aftermath. When Faith Hill was reacting and that reaction was a reasonable one. It might have been better if she had called security to remove her, but "her man" had been assaulted and she had to publicly respond or suffer the consequences. With a public rebuke she proved that she could handle it , she could respond to it and she didn't' have anything to prove out of it. The matter should end now.

It's battery, he could have her arrested but it's probably bad publicity...like over reacting or something.

I think she should be arrested. What she did could easily be considered sexual harrassment and/or simple assault.
One wonders where the arena security was.
