I'm going to be different: I loved Agatha Christie's books but some of my favorites weren't the most popular. Five Little Pigs is a favorite, so that gives you an idea of my tastes.

The Hollow: I couldn't remember the title and had to read descriptions to figure out which one it was (I think the version I read was called something else-- that was a pet peeve. They'd retitle her books a lot.) Anyway, the psychology in this one is chilling.

Peril at End House: what an ending!

Elephants Can Remember: At first glance the description sounds a bit like Five Little Pigs because it's a "cold case" investigation of a murder that took place several years earlier. "Did my mother kill my father or did my father kill my mother?"

A Murder is Announced: I love a book where the solution depends on inflection

And last but not least, a real favorite that a lot of people don't like: The Mysterious Mr. Quin. It's a cycle of short stories with Mr. Satterwaite who watches for his friend, Mr. Harley Quin. Strange and interesting things happen when Mr. Quin is nearby.... Mysteries with a fantasy twist.

Happy reading!
