The collector's edition has a better cover, a "library binding" (better binding), also inside their are some other things.
The Collector's edition is also called the the Deluxe Edition which comes in a box with more artwork

I bought the Deluxe Edition (Same thing as Collector Edit.) The only thing different is of course the cost $$, the fact that it has a box (which is basically cardboard), the inside has a different color, it has a picture in the inside of the book that is in color (it shows snape passing by the albino peackock), and in the back it has large pictures of the chapter pictures. That's it. Hope that helps.

There's nothing different besides the cover.

$$$$$$$, binding, a-few graphics, and a slightly different marketing strategy designed to get you to buy both.
