Citizenship, no.

Legal resident alien status, yes. Assuming they have not committed any other crimes beyond the illegal entry, and assuming they have a job and are willing to pay taxes.

Allowing them to become legal resident aliens by accepting a plea agreement is NOT amnesty. The person still has a criminal conviction on their record, and still pays a fine.

But it does allow resolution of all the cases where the person has committed no other crimes, and allows law enforcement to focus just on those who have committed other crimes.

I am a US citizen, and like 90% of US citizens my family immigrated to the US. In my case, about 4 generations ago.

That's a crazy idea. They should be deported immediately unless they can show their life is in danger back in their country. If they are in danger, then help to remove the danger. I wish we could let everyone in, but that would mean higher unemployment seeing how immigrants will work for less than minimum wage a lot of the time. There are reasons we have immigration laws. Even if they have been here for years, there are still laws. I think if they can show that they are a benefit to the US population, then the shoulld pay a fine and be given temporary rights to live here for a probation period of like 10 years after which they must show proof that they have not been on madicaid/medicare or food stamps or received any other such aid. Which they shouldn't be able to get any way. They need proof that they have held steady jobs and paid taxes just as other americans do. Perhaps more taxes to pay for those people who must work to enforce immigration laws.

NO!!! Let them go home and come back through all the legal channels... Even if It takes years to come back.
(Since the question and answers are posted on line, they are open to anyone who reads them) ... But if you are doing a survey, I will tell you that I was born a Patriotic American ... Caucasian ... as is my entire immediate family .... (Part of my ancestory was waiting on the shore to greet the other part over 200 years ago.. And they came here legally even then!) I have In-Law cousins who are Naturalized Citizens who came here Legally.-( Asian) I have immediate family who live abroad; and they did not leave this country illegally nor enter the foreign country illegally! Why should we cut corners for Illegal Aliens ???.... They are Criminals ... they should not be skate with a fee/fine ...

No.
Illegal immigrants should be deported. If after the ten year bar is up, they have status to reenter legally, they may do so.

I am a US citizen, mixed ethnicity. Both my brothers in law are legal immigrants with green cards.

The illegals should pay a fine and allowed to wait in line behind legals to get citizenship.

US Born (My ancestry dates back to 1597) European-American. The last to emigrate were Germans in 1876 they followed the laws in place at the time.

I'm a citizen, born in the U.S.A., Caucasian. My Mother immigrated legally in 1958.
I feel it's a very bad idea. That said, I feel that not knowing who is in our country is a national security nightmare.

I think it would be a good idea - they are here in this country anyway and aren't planning on leaving anytime soon. Our government would have to pay to find, prosecute, and deport them, which would be a huge task to accomplish, whereas if they were to come out and pay a fine/fee, we would make money off of them PLUS start making money from the taxes they would start paying.

I am a U.S. citizen, Caucasian, and no one in my immediate family is an immigrant (within the past generation).

Not no but NO! Why? Let's say they pay the 5000 ONE TIME fee. For that 5000 what do we get? Their medical and dental bills. From what I understand they still would NOT pay taxes (although I am not sure on that). We need to look at what we would spend on them if we let illegals live here and that is not expressly aimed at Mexicans either.
