I am familiar with this religion. What does it have to do with politics?

No, it's not the source of my faith, personally.

But most people don't know about it because it doesn't get a lot of news coverage. It's an ancient religion that reached significant size about 2500 years ago. It has very few direct followers today.

And, it could not be the source of any religion that predates it -- including Judaism, Hindu, Shinto, and many other faiths.

Zarathustra Persia 6th century BC yea I know a bit, while Jesus was wandering he studied his teachings . I'm not big on organized religion.
