I'm not sure if that's normal or if it's coz of a wreck I just had 3 weeks ago. I got it fixed and all, but at about 70 miles per hr it just sounds like it is working too hard, even tho it's in the 5th gear.

Yes, the steering does shake just a little.

Yes, I find that the faster that I drive especially on the highway (beyond 70 mph), my Corolla is noisy. The radio is drowned out and I can not hear anything but the car.

What kind of sound does it make? Does it shake at all? It could be your rotors or your CV Axle. My husband is a mechanic so if you could give me the answers to those 2 questions I could probably help you a little more.
