Individuality. Once we would be perceived as an unity, everyone would want to define their own self through individuality just to be detached from the crowd.

If the world were united as one, one would assume there is world peace. The next common goal we would strive for should be unconditional love for each other. Eliminate all hate. Good luck.

Well, as a whole and as a first attempt, I think we would go for an attempt at attacking the oil moguls. Gas prices are kind of on everyones mind right now in the U.S. and I don't want to sound arrogant for my country, but, what concerns us usually concerns most other countries. After that it's the environment.
However, if you are asking what "I" would want the whole world to strive for. I would go for losing the monetary value of everything. In other words (and this is probably the "treky" in me) Focus would no longer be on accumulating wealth, but, enhancing civilization and moving forward to the common good for everyone.

Our Common Goal Would be to Strive and See that It Gets Dis-United.. !!!

World is created in United Form only and it is seen from Satellite pictures..

Our political system, our social and religious beliefs and our other notions of Cultured society and all that makes us think that other is separate and we are divided .. So let us Unite the World..

Basic problem should be addressed as Is the Man United with Himself, Is Man the Individual Indivisible Yet..

Our fragmented Self goes on moving away from searching for Unity and Divinity from Within and weaves beautiful dreams of Unity of Worl, Unity of Political Parties. Unity of Races Unity of Religions,

We never ever give a thought that each man is Unique product of God.. He made us unique.. each has his/her unique body mind, life, capacity, situations and dealing capacity..

Why the craze to Unite and then again worry why we are United.. Let us have separte state of our own.... I

Even in todays USA, there are some people who feel they are neglected by Govt and want to get away from USA ...

the most powerful rich and advanced country too has to face such sentiments , then where will the third world go...
What about Kingdom of Arabs, who are living in their own world with different set of rules and laws..

India was Free from Britishers in 1947 . At that time approximatel 300 kindoms were in existence under British rule.. then political leaders made each one decide and get united as per the Langages and traditional culture.. This resulted in to some 14 so states .. and now you know 28 states and 7 Uniion teritorries are there..

similarly see the tragedy of USSR , the torch bearer of Communism... Millions were killed to acheive that Unity and Equality.. and Now again the disintegration of USSR into many states where people want to have private property.. Same people were fighting for no private property..
Now what happened just within 90 years ,,,,,, the concept failed ??

History is happening and repeating in circles only...
but man is not yet getting realize his potential.. and till that
craze for Unity and again Indvidualism will be there
Unity for what is to be achieved...

The whole question assumes the loss of individuality and everyone becoming the same.
Look at China from 1948 through the 70's and you'll see what I mean. They are finally coming out of this silly notion that universal thought and goal are an admirable notion.

I would think justice and charity would be goals to strive for. I think if a united world endeavored to fairly administer justice and intelligently dealt with charity the world would stay united. Just my opinion.

To teach others that their is One God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. He is one with many names and traditions. That he has an eternal consort or Goddess. God is not alone. And that We are not this body, IE race, color, nationality, religion, gender, intellect, mind, job, etc. That we are all eternal spirit souls, Part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, named above, with many other names as well. To teach others to see the soul within and not look at the material differences. To realize we are all brothers and sisters and even the atheist f are just in illusion and we should not condem them. We should protect the innocent and Iive in the Land with simple living and higher thinking. To take care of mother earth and not waste precious resources. That is what I understand will bring peace and prosperity and happiness.
