It's better than having an ignoramous in office who steals from his own people and send american boys to die in foreign lands so that we can briefly bring about democracy to land that's out of control, although we the USA do not control it and have no rights to it.

Even in this age of super-fast computers and instant access the logistics of trying to hold an election with millions of voters is staggering beyond belief.

Even if we did have a system that worked and allowed everyone to vote with relative ease, some people would still complain about vote rigging and stolen election results. Enough reasonable doubt would make even that system untrustworthy.

I don't think the masses are the best choice to make these decisions either...have you dealt with the masses? How about an intelligent president, who gets to screw who he wants?
