My 13 month old daughter will not eat ANYTHING except Alphaghetti and her morning Heinz cereal. She won't eat baby food, she won't eat people food. The only thing I can get her to eat more than 2 mouthfuls of is Alphaghetti and I really don't want her to eat that for lunch and dinner every day.

She'll take her whole milk just fine, but that can't be filling her up! I'm afraid she's hungry all the time.

Is there a food out there that ALL babies like? What can I feed her that she will eat?? I've tried everything...other pastas to sandwiches to hot dogs to those Gerber TV dinners.... I don't know what else to do!

my son who is also 13 mos is going through the same phase right now. I believe that for him it's because of his molars coming through..there's a lot of bubbles in the back of his mouth so now he only wants bananas, pastas etc SOFT foods. Could this be what your daughter is going through?

If you are concerned whether milk could be filling her up, it can. I just got information off of a website stating that if toddlers are given too much milk (more then 24oz) they will slow down what solids they eat because of the calorie intake they are getting from the milk. Try lessoning the amount of milk, give her 4 oz of juice or water.

Don't sweat it though there are many of other little ones like you daughter going through the same thing. Be patient and don't make a big deal when she doesnt eat. Just keep trying to feed her everytime you eat...offer her her regular meals/snacks that she used to eat and try to add new things. At this age they are realizng that there's a lot more tastier foods out there. It just takes a while for them to be willing to eat them though.

Good Luck and relax:-)

Don't fret! We have five children and they all went through it. Your baby will eat when she is hungry. The whole milk is great for her. She is getting her vitamins and minerals just from that. She will experience many phases of liking and disliking all kinds of foods. Their tiny belly's can't hold much anyway. Try diced fruits like bananas, watermelon, you can try instant oatmeal or cream of wheat. The baby cereal is still great for her too. It is loaded with iron. You can offer wheat toast, yogurt, puddings, cheese, smoothies, scrambled eggs, pancakes, soups (my kids love it). She will find something she likes. They don't eat like we do at that age. Give her some time. As long as she is gaining good weight I wouldn't worry about it.

First of all, don't panic! Children have their own pace, besides she drinks her milk everyday. Have you tried chicken nuggets? Children happen to love them, you can try Quick +calcium(chocolate) with her milk...children also love french fries, but she's probably too young for that...
Try Gerber hawaian delight, banana, something sweet and mix w/ peas, carrots, have you tried that?
Hope i could help a little:-))))

Have you tried giving her small pieces of what you're eating? Kids her age know the difference between what's on your plate and what's on their plate. Offer her anything you're eating, and if she doesn't like it today, try again another time.
