I love to swim! How much you like to swim?

A good friend of mine (shes 19) wants to learn and she wants someone to just teach her. Have you ever tried teaching someone?

Ummm im not throwing her in the water, its mean. I dont want her to have a traumatizing experience.

First of all you start with the basic which is kicking on the side usually freestyle kicking. The next would be floating on their stomach. You do that by telling her to be totally relaxed. Then one adds the kicking when they can float. Then start with breathing which is taking a breathe by popping up and taking a big one and back down. Next add the arms then breathing to the side. Then she will learn to swim better with more practice to build muscle memory and body position.

Usually, kids are taught to swim by having them hold onto the side of the pool in the shallow end (where they can touch if they panic) and kicking, to get the motion down.

When they can sustain the kicking motion, they then use a kick board (short foam board) to propel themselves around the pool.

After they get comfortable with being away from the side of the pool and motoring around under their own power, they learn how to do a basic stroke - again in the shallow end - to swim under their own power with no flotation aids.

If she's satisfied going decrease than the water then take her into the shallowest portion of the pool, get the bands off and get her used to skimming alongside the backside of the pool so she would be able to floor without issues or panic. Then she would be able to circulate her legs and hands and and get right into a rhythm before getting deeper. My youngsters have all attended instructions and the 1st stroke they have been taught became front crawl. (The pup paddle is the main standard with each and every person for a collectively as!) as long as she would be able to get herself propelled for the time of the water and sense herself floating then it is not significant what she does. The polished strokes will persist with on for sure. as long as a lot of relaxing is had discovering and she or he's satisfied with what you're asking her to do then all you're able to do is take exhilaration in and it will come to her.Does your pool grant floats etc? that is nice if she would be able to hold onto some thing (without armbands) and then she'll stay afloat collectively as she practises her leg kick, then hands then legs and one arm, legs and the different arm and finally getting all of it prepare. that is incredible how immediately it is going to click. shop up the coolest paintings!
