When answering a question do you do so to contribute to the question or to answer with basically a non answer?

First of all I would never do it for 2 points
Secondly, insulting you and anyone else does no one any good. It is a waste of time and deserves a violation notice.
I would always contribute to the question to the best of my ability or I will not answer it at all.

I usually stick to music, and I try to give people the answer. When someone asks something silly, I'll sometimes answer in a silly fashion. Only if that seems called for, though. I don't try to insult anyone, and if I was in it for the points, giving a good answer (+10) would be better than a stupid answer (+2).

I try to answer with my opinion on the subject, or from personal experience with the subject. I have to admit, there have been a few I couldn't resist, and did it for points only. I do my best to remain mature about it. Depending on my mood, it's difficult sometimes to remember i am an adult. For the most part, I do what I can to contribute and help.

I try to contribute with an answer that I had to think about... unless the question is something that doesn't require thinking.

I try my best to contribute. Insults and such are just childish and lame...and, there's plenty of Yigits out there to take care of the insults and just looking for points.
