try using an old wash cloth soaked in blue ""DAWN"" dish soap just lay it on top of the sap spots and if that don't work get some ""bug and tar remover by turtle wax"" at the local auto parts store ---- while you are there talk to the counter dude and maybe he can recommend something better --- rinse after cleaning and apply some wax to this spot to be sure the paint is sealed and not harmed ...

There is a product you can find at hardware and wallmart shops called "GOOF OFF" (THE ULTIMATE REMOVER).
Try a test on another part of your car first. It CAN damage the paint if your reckless with it. Otherwise, keep wet and dry towels ready and work on a small area at a time and when your done... buff out and wax your car to keep the finish protected!!!

Bug and tar remover at any auto part store. Don't forget to wash and wax after to get the remaining chemicals off and get the shine back.
