I've been thinking about this recently. That as many open relationships everyone says they are cool with being in. I.E. the swingers and such (though we all know one of the partners sort of regrets that in the end). I have just come to realize that the only true open relationship these days is when the couple gets a seperation. I mean they are still married and both partners can go out and date others without getting mad at one another for it. What everyone think though? Is a seperation the only truly open relationship that a couple can be in without the other partner getting hurt feelings?

To be well and trully honest here. I'm not married or being open and cheating on anyone. I was just getting at the fact that, in logical reasoning wouldn't it make more sense that a seperation be the one true open relationship that neither person gets hurt in because there is no emotional investment on either partners part of the relationship anymore. And yea I still think that still fully being married is a relationship in the eyes of the law if not to the two people involved.
