Mmmm, I cant make up my mind. I do think that we could perhaps do a little more to spread the safe sex message. We've got more and more teenage pregnancies and the girls seem to be getting younger. But we've also got a sudden rise in the number of early teenage fathers (just look at that pathetic 13 year old - who looked about 8 - who father a child with that **** about a month ago) Maybe the safe sex message isn't being targetted hard enough or accurately enough. Its all very well putting condom adverts in magazines aged at mid-teen age girls, but what about the boys? If I was working for the NHS on this (and thank Dog I'm not), I think I'd start with an ad campaign highlighting just how difficult life can be for a teenage parent. Lets show the down side of having children - preferably in the ad breaks in Trisha and Jeremy Kyle And how about we change our morals. Cast you mind back 100 years and think about how unmarried mothers were treated. The mere fear of being a social outcast put many off even having sex. The swinging 60's have a lot to answer for. I dont think there was as much progress as we hoped....

No my children are beautiful and everyone wants one like them when they are good. However they are autistic so we stopped at two cos it's a bit weird in our house some days. All that aside we are too tired for bedroom antics so maybe they are a good contraceptive.

A lot of the parents of my students should have used mass quantities of contraceptive devices. Actually, their parents should have.
Ok, not ALL of the parents, but dang!!!! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and it is true!!!

I have often found it's the PARENTS, not the children, who demonstrate the need for contraception.

Looking after my nieces and nephews is great contraception for both my husband and I. You feel a bit broody before you go and sit them and than say "Thank God, I can give them back" when you finish! LOL
I love them really, they are just exhausting.
