I really like this guy but are we compatible???

i met him online about a year an a half ago through a friend back in my home town..we've been like best friends ever since...and this summer we met for the first time and had a great time...we've talked about after i graduate high school me going to a college near him till he graduates b/c he is a year younger...and while im there we could date...but we have talked about marriage and stuff..kinda jokingly but we have talked about it
