Dude...I have had so many miracles in my life, I don't know where to begin! I have a story though, of divine intervention.
It was back in the 'day' and I was foolishly hitchhiking. A white T-Bird pulled alongside and picked me up. As soon as I put my hand on the car door a voice inside me said NO! I brushed that aside and got in. Do you remember the scene in Practical Magic when Angelo took those girls in back of a field of oil derricks? That is what they did. It was isolated, just me and two maniacs. I looked out of the back seat window as my life crossed before my eyes. I did not want to die this way...or have this be the end to my story. I asked God to forgive me for not listening and then I prayed like a man in the battlefield. I prayed so hard one of the guys told the other one to stop and just let me go. They both appeared to be confused...it was very strange but that was enough for them to drive out of there and let me go. They drove me around for a long time until I stopped crying and dropped me off at a corner without laying a finger on me. As I walked across a crosswalk to freedom, a woman stopped me and handed me a pamphlet and said to me, "Do you know Jesus is your savior?" She was startled when I yelled YES!!!!!!!!!!!
