if the girl or guy is 15 and the other is 21,then yes-for example.if one is 23 and the other is29,not really a big deal at all,unless one is still in party-mode.if they are both in the workforce,or both in grad school-then they are at similar stages and have things in common.if they are both ready and agree to similar levels of commitment,then its fine.its only a problem if the older one wants to marry and have kids,and the younger one wants to date several people,or doesnt want marriage and children yet.an older guy with a slightly younger girl usually works really well,as it takes guys on average,longer to desire commitment and marriage than girls do.

No, not really. My own parents are actually 6 years apart as well (my mom is the oldest too) and they've been married 26 years going on 27! So the age really doesn't matter, if you like each other, then thats all that matters!!!

Depends where the age gap starts. Once their 21 it shouldn't matter.

Depends. If you're 18 and the other is 12 then yeah. If you're 67 and the other is 61, no.

Like the others said it depend on where you are in life!!!!! but me and my husband are 12 years apart. i'm 23 and he's 35

when I was in my early to mid 20s, I thought it was weird. but now in my 30s, it does not bother me. last boyfriend was 6 or 7 years older

if its like 15 and 9... YAHH but if its like 44 nd 50 no. my parent r ten years difference. and they've never been divorced either. they've been married 30 years
