I have some pretty strong views on this. I was brought up very strictly and discipline was harsh when i was growing up.
Kids today have been babied and all these laws saying "dont hit kids" have completely ruined a generation. All it has done is let kids know that they can get away with anything - and they do.
Gone are the days when mouthing off to an adult was unthinkable - as punishment was assured and swift. And that is sad because it has encouraged youths to be more and more daring and is costing the legal system untold amounts of time and money better spent on more important things.
Now don't get your panties in a twist and think that i advocate child abuse. I believe in DISCIPLINE, not abuse. The child has to know that the outcome of bad behavior will result in something more than a "harsh talking to".
I've yet to hear that a spanking causes deep psychological disorders.
Welcome to the real world Timmy -* SMACK!*

Do you really care what a little girl has to say to you? she is a child, you are an adult, just say cheers for that and walk away, reacting in any other way will only get the reaction she is looking for, be the adult, one day she will grow up look back on her behaviour and be ashamed of herself, if she does not then it is down to her poor upbringing in which case pity her.

Don't think there are any real 'rights' with a situation like this. You can either ignore her - after all she's only an ignorant little brat, or confront her - aggressively or passively take your pick. You could approach her parents, hopefully they'll be reasonable people, more than likely you're bound to get a mouthful of abuse from them - their little darling can do no wrong of course.

Get a paint ball gun aim and fire, she wont be saying much if shes
covered in paint.
Or tell her to get off her *** and go get a job to get money to buy her own darn lighter.
Talk at her like your vicky pollard dont let her get a word in at all this will totally confuse her.
Scream "help im being mugged !" at the top of your voice! and watch the dumb cow run
good luck just dont let her intimidate u. just cause shes young doesnt mean u cant stick up 4 yourself

You should find his parents and explain what was said. They may not know that their child is doing this. The worst that happens is they get mad at you, but they will probably keep the child away from you after this.

So big deal. It's a kid. Just because they misbehaved, doesn't give you any additional rights. What are you going to do sue the kid for disrespect? Go for it! LOL
