Yes. I can swim in a pond, a lake, a pool, an ocean, a river, a bar pit, and a road ditch. And I've also been known to swim in a river of tears, a sea of sorrow, and an ocean of dread.

I started taking swim lessons when I first could. I think about 5 or so? Anyways, yes I can. I prefer doggie paddle though. lol. I feel if I swim the way I was taught I look like a dork or that I am trying to show off. I'll definitely stick with doggie paddle.

Wow I guess it is true florida kids don't find out till they're 12 that some people never learned how to swim! This is really amazing though the way I learned how to swim someone took me to an alligator river and pushed me off boat I had to swim after the boat, that's how I learned to swim

YES, I can swim very well, but I'm dating a guy who can't. It's really weird because I was in swimming classes since I was 3 and love it, and he wont go near the water.

No I'm 40 something and I have never caught on. I even took swimming lessons but flunked. Its hard to swim with 1 arm while the other 1 has my nose pinched shut.

I can't swim at all. Almost drowned in Galveston once. Don't ever forget an experience like that. Being pulled out to see when a large ship passed near by. The sand was being pulled from beneath my feet and oh God I don't even want to think of it. Everyone needs to learn how to swim.~~~~

Yes'm, I can. I use it as a form of exercise. Been swimming since I was very little. It is also a family activity in this house :-)
