That would be Anthony Boburdain's show on London. Bourdain's a famous US chef who now travels the world looking for good eating. Poor sod came to London. Got fed the full English breakfast, pie, mash and eels, a weird offalfest in a restaurant run by a weird guy who looked like the love-child of Harry Potter and Hannibal Lecter, and a bunch of highly poncey stuff by Gordon Bleedin' Ramsey. Next show is Scotland, with everything from Arbroath Smokies to the legendary deep fried Mars bar. But instead of watching that, I'm here, plotting my novel about how an accountant brings about the end of the world...and obviously answering you, man ;o)

I haven't even switched on the television at home for almost three months. However, yesterday evening I saw University Challenge somewhere else - don't you just adore Jeremy Paxman?

Believe it or not, I don't have cable or television. I haven't had one since...oh about 12 years. (By choice actually.) I do however have a screen that I watch dvds on. I'm probably only 1 or 2% of Americans that don't actually watch t.v. ;-)

no longer undesirable. smash it up so it somewhat is not in a bite, and careful to no longer coach him right into a 'Gary Stu' (male equivalent of the Mary Sue). The towered over line sounds slightly intimidating- like a bully, particularly than a protector.
