The sheets I want are sold out in a Full. Can I get the Queen size or will it look dumb and not fit at all?

Yes, you could still use one side of the fitted bottom sheet. Other side would need to be tucked under. The top sheet might hang down more than you would want, but maybe it doesn't matter if your bedspread would cover it anyway. If you get queen pillow cases to put on your standard pillows, they will be too long, but you can make them smaller by cutting off the excess at the closed end of case, and restitch.

ah, no...that's why they are different sizes! You'd have to buy two, cut them apart and slice in one for a few feet to make it fit the queen. Normal bed mattress and sheet sizes are single twin (or full) queen king. Just look on the backs of sheet packages, usually they will give you the dimensions of each size.

The fitted sheet will be too big, but you can buy some clips they make for sheet --they're like those old garter straps -- that you can hook on the corners and it will pull the sheet tight. For the top sheet, you will just have to tuck more under.

You can buy the Q sheets but it won't be a good fit & you will have to constantly tuck the sheets under, but if you don't mind, then go for it.

you will just have to tuck the sides in. It will be too big.

I do it with my twin. It can work if you are not a busy sleeper.
