I would say Marcy Playground because most people only know one song, but they don't actually qualify as a one hit wonder, in the classic sense, since they had a couple of other songs in rotation as well... They are still together and have a large fan base.

Hmmm....from the 80's I would say "Cars" by Gary Numan and for th 90's "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes
