This could be (and sounds like) an allergic reaction, you may be allergic to what they cook the fries in.
If the itchiness isn't so severe, you could test at different fast food places, which ones make your nose itch and then which ones do not, then you can ask the manager in each what they cook their fires in.
Also, doesn't it happen when you make home-made fries?
By knowing you can avoid the food altogether to rid you of this annoyance, when all you want to do is eat your fries in peace!~
Good Luck, and Wish You The Best!

try taking antihistamines on a regular basis seek advise from your gp 1st though and he should be able to presribe you the right type
the itching is obviously an allergic reaction and you need to be seen by a deratologist and have skin patch testing done on you
once the results are back from them tests a more accurate diagnosis can be made and you could then find a way around the problem of eating fries without the itching

No don't tell your Dr - come round my gaff - let me experiment on you to find out if other foods set off other parts of your anatomy.
I know a lady who... ah no that would be telling.
But I will say that beer gives me a headache - but only after 8 hrs (weired huh?)
Good cheese makes my head tingle.
Custard makes my eyes roll and coffee makes me annoying to others (apparently ) - can't say I've noticed.
Nothing so far in the food area makes me itch

Are you being careful about into which orifice you are actually placing the fries. Because if you stick them up your nose, you probably will itch a bit

I study in nutrition.
If you consume oily, and greasy foods long term wise, your skin will get "greasy", then start growing pimples, and along with this, itching takes place. For you, it occurs on the nose, for this you should notify your doctor.
Good luck.

Allergies can cause sinus infections. Well, at least contribute to them. Also it's not a good idea to take Amoxicillin when it isn't prescribed to you.
