I'm fatigue, and have shortness of breath a lot (even just sitting) and I'm sleeping about 14 hours a day (usually 10 at night and a 4 hour nap in the afternoon) plus it seems like small activities cause my muscles to ach. and when I'm not sleeping I'm still fatigued... things like reading a book become a chore (I like reading usually) and I'm only 18

I can't think of what it could be... I eat relatively healthy (no caffein), I had mono when I was little and it feels similar (from what I can remember, I was 8) Oh and I'm hot a lot especially when I sleep I've had these symptoms for a few months somedays its worse than others but it's pretty consistent...

anyone have any Ideas of what it is??

You definitely need to see a doctor. You could have some underlying health problem.

Heart attack and gastric trouble would both look alike. You should not mistake one for the other and if you do, you may end up miserably. But, in your case it is not the case. In any case, for a heart attack, the important symptoms are 1. the pain is seldom on the left side of the chest, though heart is on the left side 2. the pain would be at the center of the chest or on the right side 3. your left hand would pain a lot and you would find yourself totally run down. If you have frequent dental problems or a tooth ache, you should be all the more careful. Doctors would say that you would die of heart attack even if you smoke one cigarette in your life, but that is to discourage the patient from smoking. A regular exercise (not over straining oneself) and a low-calorie diet and keeping a pleasant disposition should help you remain away from heart problems

Please see a dr. and have your bloodwork done. Make sure you look at the results yourself! If they don't call you with the results call and ask for it to be sent to you. Look at everything, especially Hemoglobin. If you are low, your blood is not delivering enough oxygen (which for me, caused shortness of breath, dizziness and extreme fatigue.)

You should definitely see a doctor, but do not just trust them. I have to stress to look at the results yourself. I have found doctors make alot of careless mistakes!! My first dr. never looked at my blood test results, so never called me. I made the mistake of assuming this meant I was fine. A few months later, still feeling horrible, my new doctor saved my life by sending me to emergency the day after seeing my tests.

Take care of yourself.
