Is it important how many gallons it is? Just fill it up with water, that's how much water it holds...

Sorry, I wasn't sure how to calculate common sense...
EDIT: If she really cared, she could have gotten a container known to have the volume of 1 gallon, and dumped it into her tank until it was full, couldn't she?

You can figure out the volume using this calculator (does metric, US and British measurements), and will do more than just rectangular types: http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/converter/volume-calculator.php
And the volume IS important if you need to calculate water conditioner or medication! Just remember to measure on the INSIDE of the glass to be accurate, and remember some of the volume will be taken up by the gravel, decor, etc.

Unless this is a math test, Soup Nazi's right, but you probably have a 40+ gallon aquarium and I'll fail the test because I'm not giving "calculations" or a reverse conversion.

63.42 gallons is what I get.
2.54 cm in an inch, so divide your measurements by 2.54 to convert to inches. Multiply all measurments together (in inches) then divide by 231 since there are 231 cubic inches in a gallon.
Good luck.

That's about 240 liters, or 61.7 US gallons. You need 61 gallons to fill it up.

roughly 60 gallons. I converted cm to inches and inches to feet and used this calculator...

EDIT: if she wanted to buy a filter or heater or medicate, she'd need to know how many gallons it is wouldn't she?
