Most of the Miyazaki movies (Spirited Away, Nausicaa, Totoro, etc.) have happy endings. Chobits and DearS have happy endings. Love Hina has a happy ending, mostly. Maison Ikkoku has a happy ending. Yu Yu Hakusho has a happy ending.
Mahoromatic has a sad ending, mostly. Chrono Crusade has a sad ending.

The InuYasha anime ended before the manga, so the anime kinda just stops without finishing it, and the manga is still being written, so there is no ending to the InuYasha series yet.

So far the only series or movie I've seen with a happy ending is Gundam Wing series and the movie Endless Watlz , oh and Wicked City has a decent ending.
As for depressing, would have to say Grave of the Fireflies

InuYasha doesn't really have an ending. It just ends, but nothing is really resolved. (the artist prefers this sort of "ending", as her other series, Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 have similar "endings" in both the anime and manga version.)
Ooh...if you want depressing anime, check our "Grave Of The Fireflies". Don't watch it alone.
I found the ending of Cowboy Bebop to be rather depressing.

you have bad grammar haha, kinda hard to understand, but if ur asking for an anime with a depressing ending, watch Death Note, not the happiest ending ive seen haha
But i havent watched inuyasha or Utawarerumono, so i have no clue what kinda endin they have =)

Inuyasha ends with them still looking for Naraku and as for the anime you mentioned I don't know what that is. Sorry.

yes inuyasha has a great ending cause no one dies and the ppl who are couples dont die....but if your saying did they kill the evil ppl no they didnt u have to watch the movies to find out.....but so far i watched inuyasha movies 1-4 they all had happy endings.

inuyasha the anime,in my opinion has a very crappy ending but im not sure about the manga.im sure it has a happy ending.i think air tv and rumbling hearts have depressing endings
