what would be more interesting would be to look at religion specifically why a specific idea has not been challenged but perpetuated by the movie industry. the idea of the idea or idea of end of days or the Apocaylpse.one of these ideas could be explored more fully . questions about the assumption that only one set or the appearance of one set going to heaven could be modified. what this means is that athiests will continue their lives while the others are presented with a paradise or heaven to live in.but going there means death so everyone would be dead. then perhaps there could be an aknowledgement that differences matter not as all are closely linked by their own statements and so cannot be converted as what is similiar cannot be converted. would be nice to have the news focus on what the relgion has in common than what it does not. know all those documentaries which explore the anti this or the anti that well if the origins of three of the antis were to be explored the documentry maker might be an example to follow title What Christianity,Islam, and Judaism have in common. then explore the anti on the part of Christianity and towards Islam and anti-semitism. has been already but not this way. if what all three had in common were to be discussed more this might help more. this is more important then drugged up celebrities.

The only time that I'm interested in celebrities is when I'm bored.
I think the fascination with celebrities for many people is that they live a life of glamour and fashion. They meet our favorite actors, actresses, designers and politicians and one can't help but occasionally become whimsical about 'what if that were me'. Some people are mildly curious - some are obsessed.
What pisses me off is the fact that stories about celebrities dominate headlines before information about the stock market tumbling, the situation in Iraq, the man who saved a little girl from a burning building and the story about some sicko psychotic mother who killed her two children.
I think that information about Lindsey Lohan's arrest should be made public. She should be humiliated about the fact that she's once again gone out drinking and driving. But I also think that it should be 4th or 5th page news - not front page.

When we look at the athletes and movie stars and how our young people looked up to them as heroes . It is really sad that not many young people do not choose their father or mother as a hero because they are the real heroes while the other people mentioned are heroes in the virtual world and their lives are not always so great as they pretend to be.

Everyone loves DRAMA...well most people. Also, most celebrities have crazy, hectic, chaotic lives so it makes us feel better knowing there is someone out there worse than you. For some people they truly look up to them because they all want to be a star. I don't know......I do it only because I'm bored and need something to laugh at.

Actors, sports figures, etc. are only here to amuse and entertain us. They provide no other function in life. They earn way to much money. Here's a list of people that should get their salaries:
Teachers
police
firemen
EMS workers
soldiers
These are the people that we need in the world, not the phony drug abusing immoral entertainers.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Normal people thrown into an abnormal life style. I believe our fascination stems from the lack of royalty. As a civilization, we looked up to our rulers,in these times, that's impossible,so we substitute our infatuation.

Unfortunately many of our children are being raised by the T.V., movies and the media in general. What they see is the world they relate to.
