I would like to start cleaning my home without the use of chemicals. Can somebody tell me everything I need to know, and give me some helpful hints?

Also, is there a way to do laundry using only household items, i.e. vinegar?

I do a lot of cleaning with products such as lemon juice, baking soda, borax, and white distilled vinegar. Vinegar kills germs, works as a deodorizer, a glass cleaner, a fabric softener, a degreaser and much more. Borax is a great disinfectant.

You can do laundry with 1/2 cup washing soda and 1/2 cup borax an 1/4 cup vinegar.
