if they do then they are rude and disrespectful. its one thing to not like a president, and its another to act like your 9 years old.

It is not the right manner of spitting at a president if you dislike him. The correct way it vote for the candidate of the opposite party. That is what democracy calls for. Spitting is something done in the prehistoric times.

No one without security clearance can get within 50 miles of Bush. They could have a bomb strapped on him and anyone sitting in an audience listening has to go through a security clearance and be stripped searched before entering the room. He has more secret police and security guards than any previous president.

What kind of person thinks of spitting on others to show their disapproval? GROW UP!! Oooh, I fear that someday 'spitters' will be making decisions/laws in my behalf. So, we have a generation of SPITTERS in America. Thanks. Guess that's what happens when a generation is raised without discipline and God. What can you do that is productive? Constructive? We have higher expectations than that, don't we?

Any president has so much protection around him (e.g., Secret Service bodyguards) that someone hoping to spit at him had better be an *amazing* "spitter."

I don't think spitting is PC. You can dislike him, even hate him (you have enough reasons). Still he is legally elected president and at least the office he holds deserves some respect.

Yes, but secret service is dedicated to take a wad of spittle for the President. Good thing we evolved or they'd be flinging poo at him...

I'm pretty sure that with all the bodyguards he has, nobody can really do that. I don't think he drives himself anywhere or just walks down the street....he always has an entire group of people around him in public.
If that wasn't the case, however, I'm pretty sure he'd be covered in spit.

I see a lot of people talking about respect, why should I respect him when he has no respect for the American people, in my opinion he and Cheney should be tried for war crimes
