All states allow gays to marry. No state will arrest anyone for getting married to someone of the same gender.

Only 1 state allows gay marriage at this time and that is Massachusetts.

There are several states like Connecticut, HI, NJ that call it Civil Union but allow that same protections as that of marriage unfortunately it doesn't carry over if you move out of state.

Only Massachusetts allows legal gay marriage. And, that marriage is not transferrable to any other state in the country, nor do the couples qualify for any federal benefits of marriage such as joint filing of taxes or social security benefits if one spouse dies.

Mass. is the only one and they were afraid to allow a popular vote to see if they should allow it they don't want to see what the people really think because they know that the morally irrehensible homosexuals would Lose their ability to get "married" if it was a popular vote.

Massachusetts is the only state to allow full marriage, but it is still not federally recognized, so it is still not equal.

Massachusetts.
There are several states that have "civil union" or "domestic partnerships" or other 'separate but equal' statuses that are not equivalent to marriage.

Hold out for the real thing, as guaranteed by the Constitution! :o)

EDIT - Of course, we are talking about full rights to marry one other unrelated person of age of our choosing, and have it be equivalent to when M/F marry. We do NOT have this right.
No matter how many times some people bring up 'Disney parties,' we know what real marriage rights are.
