You're forgetting the possibility of carriers of the gene- People who have the gene, but no biological consequences arise as a result. It might be a recessive gene. Yet, under the right circumstances, it will activate.
Personally, I'm not so sure about the whole gay gene theory, but anything is possible.

Your line of thinking is flawed and Ill tell you why.
We say we agree gay is genetic. Now lets think about that a minute. Many mutations disease even traits are genetic but can also be factored in or changed through the environment.
Now lets view an experiment that was done when I was in school. Lets take a tank and place all male insects in it and create an environment suitable for them to live in. Over time they change mate and reproduce.
Now think about how the world operates every animal and insect has some type of predator that helps curb the population, however man does not. Could it be that the homosexual gene is a way of earth to curb the population of mankind? Even if all the gays came out of the closet there would always be more that are born.

First, the idea that there is a single gene solely responsible for governing something as monumentally complex as human social-sexual bonding behavior is absolutely ridiculous.
Second, to assume that there is a single "gay gene," a singular cause without which all people (or animals) would default back to exclusive m/f sexual and romantic desire is a naive and heterosexist assumption.
The factors which shape the paramaters of human social bondings - ie, the things that set up the basic boundaries of who you are capable of being attracted to - are undoubtably vast and unbelievably complicated in their interactions. We're talking about complex human behavioral traits here, not whether someone is born with green eyes or blue eyes.
And heterosexuality, the condition in which a person is solely capable of sexual or romantic attraction to the opposite sex, doesn't exist in a void either. There isn't going to be a single "gay gene" any more than there is going to be a single "straight gene."
Third, shockingly enough, being gay is not actually a form of sterility. Being solely attracted to the same gender, or perminantly partnered to someone of the same gender, doesn't preclude the possibility of having children. Gay people can and always have had children, and this doesn't necessarily require feigning heterosexuality. Before there was in-vitro fertilization, there was old-fashioned "one-time-only sex with a friend for purely procreative purposes." It's just a matter of business rather than pleasure.

the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, that's asserting that Jesus did His miracles by skill of the means of the devil. the only unpardonable sin immediately is that of persevered unbelief. there is not any pardon for a individual who dies in unbelief. John 3:sixteen tells us, "For God so enjoyed the international that he gave his merely begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shouldn't perish yet have eternal existence." the only concern the place somebody would have not have been given any forgiveness is that if he/she isn't between the "whoever believes in Him." The verse asserting that they gained't inherit the dominion replaced into written by skill of Paul, who replaced into very opinionated and suggested some issues approximately women that weren't so flattering. Paul suggested that girls ought to no longer worship in a temple with out overlaying their heads and ultimate quiet, etc. (a million Tim 2:9-15). there is loads of cultural background interior the Bible, which seems to be like hateful yet its the way issues have been on the time. the significant factor is that Jesus had no longer something to declare approximately people who're gay, Jesus preached approximately each thing that replaced into mandatory whilst he replaced into right here on earth.

Dude, is you village missing an idiot? If as per your hypothesis, there is a gay gene, then inasmuch as gays generally do not reproduce, the only other option is that straights produce gays. Therefore to eliminate the production of gay people, straights would have to cease reproducing. Think about that one for awhile.

Huh? Being gay doesn't prohibit someone from pro-creating. My partner and I have twin sons...that I carried for almost nine months. No, they are not biologically my partner's children, but they are mine.
Besides, it's primarily straight couples that produce gay children.

Whatever whatever they do what they want. Why should they hide in the closet? That would totally suck.
I like gay people. They're awesome.

acctually if it's genetic then I guess we could start researching for the "gay gene" so that we could fix it so who's available for experiments? (less probing more slicing)
