Every one on the Yankees hit a HR except A-Rod, Derek Jeter and Andy Phillips.

A-Rod
1.He needs 1 to get 500HRs
2.Everybody hit one after he failed to
3.He had 5 fly outs and pop ups
4.He was never walked in tha game
5.He almost had one or at least a double but JD robbed him

1.He never hits HRs so if he was this was the chance
2.even cano and melky hit one
3.He never even got close to hitingh a HR they all stayed infeild
4.He wanted to he's just so skinny and has no power.
5.For the 1st time he could have had bragging HR rights over A-Rod

I mean the guy hasnt hit a homerun since he hit 499 off Gil Meche a few days ago.

Neither of them were more embarrassed. Jeter is having a great season as usual. Baseball isn't a sport where you can have a great game every day. Jeter and A-Rod are both going to have games where they don't perform their best. But it happens. A-Rod is feeling pressure from joining the 500 HR club. So I seriously think, if the two of them are the great teammates that people say they are, then they don't really cared how they performed cause in the end, they gained another game on Boston.

Neither of them should be embarrassed. Who cares if you hit a home run or not? They already had enough. Jeter isn't a home run type of guy, so he has nothing to be embarrassed about. As for A-Rod, just let him do his thing, he'll hit #500 when it happens. It'll happen soon enough, I'm sure of it. Obviously you don't know much about baseball. Jeter doesn't tend to hit a lot of home runs and just because he's skinny has nothing to do with him not hitting a home run. He's got the power when he needs it. As for last night, they won 16-3. More than enough home runs were hit. Bottom line is I love my Yankees, all of them, whether they hit a home run or not.

Baseball isn't all about hitting homeruns. Yes, seeing one hit is quite exciting, but that isn't what the game is all about. You can win the game with line drives and base hits as we all know. Both these players are great "all around" players and have no reason whatsoever to be embarrased. If all you focus on is who hits a homer and when, then you are not a true baseball fan. Remember, this is a team game, not an individual game.
