I want to buy one, under $300 if possible, but would I get it cheaper if I only got it to use for taking notes at school, no internet or anything? I don't even need MS Word, just notepad like on a regular computer. Where can I find a cheap one - not ebay because I don't have a CC or PayPal.

It takes 5 minutes to open a Paypal account, you just need a checking or savings account to have it (money) withdrawn from. You don't need a credit card. Some on ebay will take money orders also.
