okay so i have 2 best friends kelly & cassie and my best friend kelly has 2 hot brothers and one is single, and 23 (by the way we're 16) and he jokes around with us all the time and brings kelly cassie and i places when he's in town(he's in the army) he just makes jokes with us some are funny and some arent, and we have big crushes on him but nothing to the extent of dating him thats just gross...but the other day after he left to go back to the army he left my friend cassie a message saying "hurry up turn 18"
...okay so that freaked me out. i told cassie dont talk to him anymore thats just freaky, but the thing is he's never done anything to us before to make us think he's a pervert. i dont know what should be do?not go over kelly's anymore?what should cassie say to him?

He's 23... so by the time Cassie is 18, he will be 25. when you are 32, he will be 39. Sounds good to me. Sounds like he likes her.... but will wait patiently for her to grow up.

Perhaps it means you can do some other things that people under 18 can't do. :)
In any case, maybe you can have cassie confirm what he really meant by that. It's a safe bet, since he can be fun to have around, so just ignoring him and avoiding him might not be the best move at the moment. once it's certain that the meaning of the message is something towards sex or perversion.. then you can act on that the way you mentioned. :) _

Nothing wrong with that. You shouldn't be freaking. He's only 23. Noticing a beautiful 16 year old is not out of bounds for him. What's out of bounds is doing anything with that 16 year old. So, in 2 years, she'll be 18 and he'll be 25. That's not a huge gap.

I mean he is 23 He shouldnt be even saying stuff like that to girls your age, but honestly he prob. just thinks you guys have a crush on him or something so he makes a joke about it..I would still go over, and tell your friend to not even say anything to him unless he says something again to her that bothers her. If its bothering her alot now tell her to tell the friend first. You will be ok! guys make comments like that all the time!..Not all guys but some do!
