well I'm going into seventh grade too but I think i can help.So some people from my school last year are in my homeroom class. even if their not your friend, at least you know somebody. and maybe, they'll become your friend. Also you can make many friends if your in a after school thingy like track or drama. Plus when you have to work in groups, you might make friends. You could sit be new people on the bus or at lunch. I know it sounds cheesey but really being yourself works and try talking to the people that sit next to you in your classes Im going to eigth grade thats how I made friends in 7th grade so good luck and I hope you make tons of friends well later. you can e-mail if you want more advice K

Just be yourself and smile. Help schoolmates out if they need help. I find that people who are self-centered have the least amound of friends. Join projects like an athletic program, or some kind of club to meet new people.

Are you going to a new school? it's hard to make new friends in a new school because you feel like everyone else has friends and won't probably want to be your friends, but there are many kids out there that may feel just like you. Don't be afraid to make new friends when you finally go to school, sometimes it may be difficult and scary, but just be yourself... be nice to everyone, smile, and participate in any activities with other kids. it will actually be easier once you go up to someone and just say HI

if you really want to make friends with them then why not try to help thenm in some ways that they can thank you.that might be the starting point of a 7th grade people.

hey what i did in 7th grade is basically be yourself, and dont try to be the "popular" type because usually people get annoyed by those people.... id say be nice and yourself and choose good friends that you feel comfortable around.

Play sport.
Anyone who plays sport has friends.
Anyone who plays sport is always meeting new people - regardless of what age one is.
There is always some sort of gathering going on - trophy presntations, end of season wind-ups etc.

Just be your self....dont worry about what other people have to say.....dont try and fit in with the wrong people.....become friends with people that you no will not let you down....
