Im 15. Ive had my period for about 2 years now. About a year before I got it, I had a white/yellowish discharge. But ever since I've had my period, the white/yellowish discharge keeps coming in between each menstrual cycle. Keep in mind, Im 15 and its not a HUGE amount.. But still. Im curious....

Whats going on? Is this normal?

Normal discharge is part of puberty and womanhood. The vagina is self-cleaning.

It's completely normal. Vaginal discharge is just your bodies way of cleaning itself out. As long as the discharge doesn't develop a foul odor, become a funny color (dark yellow/green), or be of weird consistency (chunky like cottage cheese) then you have nothing to worry about.
If you do develop any of the above characteristics, or begin itching call your gyno for an appointment as that would hint that you have an infection and need antibiotics.

Hope this helps. :-)

That's just your natural cleansing goo, hon. Once you reach sexual maturity, your body cleans out the excess menstrual blood, as well as anything else that needs cleaning, by producing that fluid. It's totally normal for a woman to have that every day of her life, but you'll notice it changes consistency in various times in your cycle. It gets real runny during ovulation, when you are the most fertile. If there's a really lot of it, just slap on a panty liner. It gets less as you get older. Good luck!

Most women have a little mucous discharge when they ovulate. This usually happens about two weeks after the first day of your period. It's normal.

Yes it is normal to have a slight discharge. You need to worry if it is causing inflammation, if there is an odor, if the color or quantity changes.

I have included below a link that will explain vaginitis that you may find interesting.

sure this is thoroughly commonplace. maximum women human beings get discharge in between their classes, some even get it for the time of their classes. the only time you're able to desire to be concerned is in the adventure that your discharge turns to a brownish shade and starts off to smell and itch.
