You know I try to make my life exciting and lead by example for my kids. I work on building a strong relationship with them. But to be honest, my weekdays are like this-
5 a.m. I am up and getting ready for work. I leave the house by 645 a.m. to drop the kids off at summer school/kids camp sorta thing. Then I work from 730 to 430 Mon-Fri.
By 500 pm on Friday we pack up the SUV and leave for the lake cabin - which is just a short 90 minute drive. When we get there, we relax on the lake, fishing, boating, swimming, enjoying a few cold ones and forgetting about life in the city and work.
At least two, maybe three time a month my wife and I have very own "date" night. We go to dinner, a movie, a walk in the park or out dancing.
That is my life!
