That's normal... after climaxing, many men have a period of time that erections are impossible - a recovery period of sorts. I'm not use about the product you mentioned, I don't have any experience with products of that nature.

Much like many of the drugs out there, you need to keep at least a semi to stay erect in a ring. If you don't keep that after you ejaculate then it is not going to have the results that you hoped for and if you get one that is so tight that it "makes" you keep your erection, it is too tight and can cause the kind of permanent damage that can leave you without any erections at all if you practice it for too long. Come to a place of acceptance so you don't hurt yourself. Rings are great for boosting sensations during sex which is the main reason for their use.

Yours just will be an useless purchase because there is no ring able to keep your penis as hard as previously after the first sexual intercourse. Few guys are able to have another act soon or kinda consecutively but the most part of men have to wait many minutes or hours even! As well as the orgasm will arrive the blood will drain from your penis while lust & libido too come down inexorably.

We have a few at my house. We don't use them anymore because we really didn't notice too much of a change. Some men need "re-coop" time and it varies of course from 5 minutes to a day. I would not worry about it too much. Go to a toy shop and just purchase one. it would be less expensive if it didn't work!
