Christmas. And not because I love getting presents, I just really love Christmas. I start celebrating early, playing Christmas carols all the time, putting up decorations the day after Thanksgiving, shopping for gifts for my friends and family. I love how it gets cold out and how something about that cold seems to make everything that much more special. I love watching Christmas movies on TV. I just love the whole spirit around Christmas, so much so that I spend most of the year looking forward to December.

For the last few years it has been Christmas Day... as my whole family has been gathering in Vermont at my sister's place for the day... and it had been quite a few years prior to that since we could all gather in one place... my second choice would be Labour Day... but that's more like a whole long-weekend type of thing.

I look forward to my birthday because on that day I know who truly loves me...its always an emotional day for me because I always feel the love.
