My husband has already put up fly paper. It has worked some, but it seems as if there are twice as many coming back. There is nothing in or around the window that is attracting them. Please HELP...it is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

Ok my husband took our plastic outside sprayer, and mixed Dawn with water, and has been spraying down our backdoor and if he sees on in the windows he sprays it, it has been killing them instantly. Yay!

We get invaded every spring and fall, it's disgusting. The fly strips work well for us, but only if we get the placement right. They need to be where the flies are the thickest. If the long strips are getting in the way, you can get different cylindrical models from farm supply stores. Don't try to use the ones that trap the flies in liquid, those are for barn use only.

A vacuum hose works well to instantly reach zero population density, and then use the fly paper to keep them from building back up.

Try to locate how they are getting in. I use a fly swatter to get rid of them as I can. Other than that and the fly paper, just be sure the kitchen is clean and there is no food sitting out.

Assuming you've cleaned up already- wash the wall and window on both sides, especially the outside with soapy water like with dishwashing liquid soap. Killing them won't help because there will always be more as long as there is something to attract them.
