The Mets have had an 11-game winning streak four times, in 1969 (28-May to 10-June), 1972 (12 to 21-May), 1986 (18 to 30-April), and most recently 1990 (17 to 29-June).

Jeez, about 18 games or so back in 1962. The MLB record of 23 was set by the Phils in 1961, so we know it's less than that. It seems maybe KC lost 23 or more in a row last year, but I don't recall just how far it went.
