The law in Spain changed last year. You could ride a scooter if you were 14 but there have been so many accidents involving teenagers on scooters that the age limit has been raised to 16. If you want to hire a scooter in Spain, you need proof of identification. Also, if you are hiring a scooter, make sure you use a reputable company. Some companies were hiring scooters that were illegal and dangerous! Good luck!

The law changed here in Spain a while ago you need to be 16 to ride a moped and they are cracking down on people who dont wear a helmet. If you are caught by the police you can get a fine up to 500 euros (my BF who is spanish got 1).
You can ride a quad from the age of 14.
If you rent 1 you need to have photo ID also make sure you read the small print about the insurance because most places will only have the bikes insured third party only.
Have fun if you get 1 but also be carefull.

i've got completed it a good number of circumstances, no licence required for in basic terms 50cc, they only dangle on on your passport. expenses approximately 30 euros an afternoon, this is somewhat weird and wonderful as you may get a motor vehicle for much less.

I think it's 16 but if you are a tourist you'll need to be much older to hire one.
Laws have tighten up over here. Most riders never wore a crash helmet, but now if you get caught without one you are in trouble.
